本研究の目的は、小学生・中学生の友人関係の問題に対する養護教諭の認識と、保健室での対応の実態を明らかにすることである。A 県の養護教諭部会に登録している養護教諭を対象に自記式質問紙調査を実施した。質問紙は計381 部郵送し、140 部回収した（回収率は36.7％、有効回答率は100％）。データの分析には統計ソフトSPSSversion22 を使用した。その結果、児童生徒の友人関係の問題に対する認識については、67％の養護教諭が保健室に来る児童生徒の友人関係を大抵把握しており、84％が友人関係の問題のきっかけを相談者から聞いていた。保健室での対応については、95％の養護教諭が受容的な態度で関わり、28％が不定愁訴でも児童生徒の気が済むまで保健室に滞在することを許し、89％が児童・生徒が教室に戻ることを目標として対応していた。また養護教諭の経験年数による比較では、経験年数が長い養護教諭に児童・生徒からいじめについて打ち明けられやすい傾向がみられた。以上より、養護教諭は児童・生徒から友人関係の問題について詳細な内容の相談がなされており、相談者を教室に戻すという教育的視点をもちながら受容的な態度で対応していることが明らかとなった。今後は、友人関係から発展するいじめ問題への具体策を講じる上で、質的研究方法を用いて養護教諭の具体的な対応方法を明らかにすることが課題である。 |

The purpose of this study is to clarify the perceptions of school nurses with regards to issues related to friendship in elementary and junior high school, and the state of response to such issues at school infirmaries. Self-administered questionnaires were sent to school nurses registered at the Division of School Nurses in Prefecture A. A total of 381 questionnaires were posted, and 140 were subsequently returned (recovery rate: 36.7%, valid response rate: 100%). SPSS version 22 statistics software was used to analyze data. Results indicated that in terms of perceptions of problems related to friendship amongst students, 67% of school nurses had a rough grasp of the friendships of students who came to the school infirmary and 84% heard about what started the friendship issue from the student who requested counseling. With regards to handling of the matter at the school infirmary, 95% of school nurses showed a receptive attitude, 28% allowed the student to stay in the school infirmary until they calmed down even for indefinite complaints, and 89% treated the issue with the aim of helping the student to return to the classroom. Comparison according to the number of years of experience of school nurses indicated that those with more years of experience tended to be more approachable for students to talk to them about bullying. Thus, results clarified that school nurses received detailed consultations regarding friendshiprelated issues from students and exhibited a receptive attitude while maintaining the education-focused goal of attempting to help the student to return to the classroom. An issue for the future is the qualitative clarification of perceptions and response of school nurses to formulate specific measures for bullying problems that develop from friendship. |
