| 内容記述 | 本稿は､日本における法看護学導入のための基盤研究の一つとして､矯正看護領域の発展の必要性とその可能性について検討したものである｡法看護学とは､1980年代より欧米で発展している法科学を取り入れた看護学である｡法看護学の知見と専門的な技術を有する看護者は､その者に対し侵害された/侵害されている人権の擁護者として関わりながら､暴力や犯罪､事故等の法的諸問題に遭遇した対象者の健康問題を解決する｡このような看護の実践活動は､その者だけでなく暴力や犯罪等によって苦しむ社会全体の健康問題の解決や予防に繋がる｡法看護学が対象とする範囲は広く､その1つが､刑務所や拘置所等の刑事施設に収容されている受刑者を対象とする矯正看護領域である｡本稿は､日本における法看護学発展の可能性に関わる研究として､日本における矯正看護の状況と看護者の役割について考察したものである｡ | |||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | This article examines the need and possibilities of developing correctional nursing as a basic pillar for the introduction of forensic nursing in Japan. Forensic nursing started to develop in Europe in the 1980s; it is the specialty area that applies nursing sciences to legal issues. Nurses who have knowledge of the principles and techniques of forensic nursing do not only advocate for those who have suffered or are suffering the infringement of their human rights; but they can help solve the health problems of individuals who have been involved in legal issues such as violence, crime and accidents. It is worth to mention that the above mentioned nursing practical activities are not centered in the care of isolated individuals, but they definitely redound in the prevention and solution of violence and crime related social problems. The spectrum of activities of forensic nursing is broad, correctional nursing is the area of forensic nursing that takes care of penal institution inmates. This article presents and analyzes the situation of correctional nursing and the role of the correctional nurse. | |||||||||||||
