| 内容記述 | 「ICTを利用した死亡診断の補助」は、医師不在・医師確保困難な地域において、在宅での穏やかな看取りが困難な状況に対応するものである。課題は、死亡診断の場における看護師の役割を医師の補助に留めることなく看護ケアとして発展させていくことであろう。このような問題意識から、本稿では、他国で同様の業務を行っている国の状況から看護ケアへの発展への示唆を見出し若干の考察を行った。イギリスでは、看護師の死亡確認が承認されている。その実務の状況および実施者の経験を比しながら、日本での実務について検討した。結果は、日本の実務は医師と協同で科学的に公正に死亡確認と死後診察を行っていくことである。故人の擁護者となるこの実務を的確に行い、社会の信頼を得ることで看護師の専門性と自律性を活かす看護の役割拡大となるのである。 | |||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | “Supporting ICT-based death certification” is intended to be conducted in dicult access areas or when medical doctors are unavailable. The challenge is to develop the role of nurses in the field of death verification as part of nursing care and without keeping them as mere assistants to doctors. This paper discusses the problem in light of the experiences of other countries and presents suggestions for the further development of nursing care. In the UK, confirmation or verification of death can be undertaken by trained registered nurses. We examined the current practice in Japan and compare it to the current practice in the UK and to the experience of the implementers. The result showed that in Japanese practice, nurses and doctors could work in collaboration to conduct death confirmation and postmortem examinations scientifically and impartially. In doing so, nurses become advocates of the deceased, and gain the trust of society, thus ensuring the expansion of the roles of nurses based on their professionalism and autonomy. |
