| 内容記述 | 臨地実習を行う前の看護学専攻の低年次の学生に対する教育素材と教育活動方法を開発する試みの一つとして、医療施設を舞台とするテレビドラマを利用した実験授業を2度行った。目的は、医学と看護学の基礎科目の学習の必要性を強い感情と共に認識する体験を与え、学習動機と学習技能を向上させることである。参加者の口頭および書かれたコメントからは、学習者が大きく心を動かされた様子が見られ、基礎的知識が現場での対応に必要であることへの萌芽的理解と、基礎科目学習の意義の認識と学習動機の高まりが観察された。以上から、今回の実験授業の素材としたドラマとクラス活動として用いた方法とは基本的に適切であり、掲げた目標を達成するための方法としてこの授業方式は大いに可能性を持つという結論を得た。しかし、医学情報の供与に多くの時間を取られ、迅速に議論を進めるため教師主導の質疑応答が主となったため、学生主導の活動をほとんど行うことができなかった。掲げた目的を達成するには、知識そのものの供与ではなく知識の必要性の認識の形成が目的であるという点を指導者が十分に意識しておくべきこと、ひとつの素材を扱うのに少なくとも2コマの時間を確保することが必要であることなど、課題が明らかになった。 | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| 内容記述 | As an effort to develop appropriate teaching contents and activities for nursing majoring freshmen and sophomores before taking on-the-job trainings, we planned and performed two experimental classes using TV dramas set in medical facilities in order to 1) form the students' emotion-rooted understanding of the relevance of basic knowledge in medicine and nursing for good practice on the job scenes, and 2) enhance their motivation for learning the basic subjects. From the oral and written comments made by the participants in the experiments, it was obvious that the participants were emotionally moved by the episodes, they watched, and we observed emerging understanding of how basic knowledge supports good performance and improved recognition of the objective of leaning the basic subjects and enhancement of leaning motivation Thus, we concluded that the materials and activities we used were basically appropriate, and very promising for achieving our goals. However, as we spent a considerable part of the relatively short class time for offering medical knowledge and heavily leaned on elicitations, we had only very little room for students-initiation. For a better performance, it is crucial for the teachers to focus on assisting the students' spontaneous recognition and thinking, instead of providing them with actual pieces of knowledge.
