| 内容記述 | さまざまな留学生の作文教育に取り組んできた5人の研究者の実践経験に基づき、370あまりの文型を論文の実例と共に提示する表現集を作成し、大学のコースで試用した。この表現集は、以下のような特徴を持つ:1)論文のタイプを理系・文系の区別ではなく、実験・調査などによる検証を目的とした論文(本稿では「検証型論文」と呼ぶ)と、文献などに基づく論述過程に重点を置く論文(本稿で は「論証型論文」と呼ぶ)という研究手法の違いとして提示した、2)疑問を提示する、研究の必要性・重要性を示すなど、論じる行為を成り立たせる各行動すなわち「研究行動」を表現集の項目とした、3)一つの項目、すなわち各研究行動について、基本的な文型とその応用的バリエーションとを示し、様々な専攻分野の論文からの実例を付した。試用の結果から、この表現集は、言語表現の学習を通して研究行動の概念の理解を進めることに具体的な一助を提供したと考えられる。 |

| 内容記述 | We have complied a resource book based on collective knowledge and experiences of five researcher-educators who have been engaged in teaching of writing at different educational settings, and tentatively used the book in a writing course at a university. Our resource book, offering approximately 370 sentence patterns, has the following features: 1) The types of articles are recognized not in terms of BUNKEI versus RIKEI (liberal/social versus scientific/technological) but in terms of the difference in the research method: experiment/re se archbased versus literature-based 2) Building blocks of the deed of arguing, i.e., research- actions such as posing a question which combine into an organized structure of article, serves as the entries of the book; 3) For each entry are presented several sentence patterns from very basic to applied, and each sentence pattern comes with examples from real journal articles in a variety of disciplines. In the tentative use, our book was observed to be of concrete and substantial help to the learner in enhancing his/her understanding of the nature of academic arguing through the learning of linguistic expressions. |
