Saga prefecture initiated a preventive education program in 2008. The study was conducted for 8 junior high schools, which joined the program in the following year, with the consent of their principals. At first information about the study and the consent form were given to the parents/guardians of 1,746 students in the 2nd and 3rd grades. The study was implemented only for those whose parents/guardians consented to the objective, so did the students themselves. The study period was from May to July, 2009. The questionnaire items were the frequency of conversation with parents, frequency of conversation with teachers, recognition of violence during dating, awareness about dating, knowledge about sexually transmitted diseases, awareness of sexual intercourse, and risky behavior. This study was conducted as a preliminary survey for the Saga Prefectural Preventive Education Program as approved by the Ethical Committee of Saga University. Results were obtained from 1,541 subjects (response rate: 88.2%) who completed the questionnaire. The subjects included 817 males (53.0%) and 724 females (47.0%). The frequency of conversation with family members or school teachers was lower in the male group than in the female group. In terms of importance of "equal partnership between both sexes," "consideration for others," and "consideration for oneself " during dating, males' awareness was significantly lower than females'. The percentage of subjects who regarded verbal assault as violence was lower in the male group than in the female group. The percentage of subjects who approved junior high school students to have sexual intercourse was significantly higher in the male group than in the female group. There were no significant difference by sex concerning the total score of knowledge about sexually transmitted diseases as well as the number of subjects with sexual experience. Further, the study showed that the subjects' knowledge, awareness and behavior regarding dating and sexually transmitted diseases were related with frequency of conversation with their parents/teachers. These results suggested that for the prevention of risky behavior junior high school students should be taught about the importance of having frequent conversation with their parents and teachers}, pages = {223--234}, title = {中学生男女の親・教員との会話と男女交際および性感染症に関する知識・意識・行動との関連}, volume = {30}, year = {2012}, yomi = {ハラ, ケンイチ and ナガマツ, ミユキ and ナカガワ, アキ and サイトウ, ヒサコ} }
