@article{oai:jrckicn.repo.nii.ac.jp:00000360, author = {OGAWA, Satomi and 小川, 里美}, issue = {1}, journal = {日本赤十字看護学会誌}, month = {Mar}, note = {http://ci.nii.ac.jp/naid/40019241267, application/pdf, 南部スーダンでは1985年に勃発した民族紛争が2005年に終結した。2001年以降、国際機関による医療支援活動が活発に行われるようになった。赤十字国際委員会は1993年より、南部の政府基幹病院であるA病院に対し医療支援を行っており、看護師への再教育プログラムも継続的に実施してきた。しかし、得られた知識・技術が実践に活かされることはなかった。紛争を経験した南部スーダンで看護師という職業を選択し働く彼らは、「看護」という職業や「看護師」として働くことをどのようにとらえているのか、彼らの語りから明らかにすることを試みた。28名の看護師に実施したインタビューの分析から、A病院で働く看護師が捉える「看護」という職業、「看護師」として働くことには「光と影」の対極する2面性があること、現在はその影の部分が大きく、看護師である自分への誇りと意味を再発見する過程の途上にあることが示唆された。, Introduction:20 years of internal conflict ended in 2005 in Sudan. International organizations commenced relief operations to the hospitals and to provide refresher courses to the nurses in southern Sudan in order to improve the level of care; however the outcome was hardly seen. Ultimately the common objective to be achieved was diverged between relief workers and the national staff. Although the reasons why nurses did not give nursing care to the patients were identified in the previous report, questions still raise how they think of a nursing profession and what nurses want to be. This study attempts to develop nurses’ thought on nursing in order to have a mutual understanding and to reconsider an effective cooperation for better results. Methods:Qualitative descriptive research; categorizing and synthesizing narrative interview data. Ethical Consideration:This study had the approval of the Ethical Committee Aomori University of Health and Welfare. Interviewee’ s rights, free participation in interview and the issue of confidentiality were assured, and then asked for their consent to interview. Result:28 nurses participated the interview. 6 categories were found through analyzing 545 of unit data, then brought to the last category “Light and Shadow in Nursing”.The light in nursing describes services to life, ensuring their own safety from forcibly taken by soldiers and an expectation of career development. The shadow in nursing shows a fluctuation of being a nurse related destroying whole system of their life by the conflict.
