 note = {http://ci.nii.ac.jp/naid/120005406359, application/pdf, 本研究は、手術後の患者が捉えた看護における察しの様相とその意味を明らかにすることを目的として、術後の患者８名に半構造化面接を実施し質的記述的に分析した。その結果、得られたカテゴリより、３つの様相すなわち“患者が不快な心情を抱き続けている様相”“患者の心情が看護師に伝わり察しの行為が生じた様相”“患者の不快な心情が快の心情へと変化した様相”が抽出された。察しの３つの様相において、患者は【不快さを言わないでおくことを良しとする】【どうしたらいいのかわからない】との心情から【言わないまま抱き続けている不快さ】を抱いていた。それが患者の【不快さを抱き続けるありのままの姿】となり【患者の不快さにかなう看護師の察しの行為】が生じていた。そのことにより患者は【看護師の察しの行為で生じたその瞬間の心地よさ】と【残り続ける看護師の察しの行為への価値】を感じていた。看護師における察しの意味として、まず患者―看護師の関係性を一気に向上させる機会であるとの意味が示唆された。また察しでは患者が援助要請をせずとも患者の心情にかなった援助が生じていた。このことにより、看護における察しは、患者にとって援助要請の際に伴う自尊心の低下をきたすことのない援助機会であるとの意味が捉えられた。, The purpose of this study is to clarify postoperative patients’ perceptions with regard to nurses’ care. Eight patients responded to semi-structured interviews in 2004. Interviews were audio-taped and transcribed verbatim was analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach. Participants in the study consisted of five men and three women. Their ages ranged from 49 to 78 years.
  The results showed that patients concealed their displeasure, believed that it was better not to express their displeasure, and that they were not sure how they should proceed. However, nurses’ awareness and perceptiveness of the patients’ needs allowed for patients to feel relaxed, open up and feel valued as a whole.
  Nurses’ perceptiveness plays an important role in patient care and treatment. This is essential in relaxing and giving confidence to patients after surgery.},
